We all can feel joy and fulfillment in life and our relationships. Our choices in life come from learning to either access or reject consciousness. Good life is the result of conscious choices which are uncontaminated by the influence of past trauma and loss. The self transformation process leads us into happy and healthy relationship with partners, our families, ourselves and the natural world. Being indoctrinated into ceremonies while living on the Cheyenne River Reservation when I was young, and living a life of ceremony has allowed me to integrate clinical knowledge with traditional healing practices. Tribal psychology offers a healing method based in the ancient relatedness principles underlying relationships, ceremony and consciousness. It develops our ability to observe our internal-external dialog and construct relationship choice circles which are meaningful and productive. It is a belief in complete healing. Depth centered dialog creates new realizations of our place and our purpose, healing the psyche and the body through a compassion wellness cycle. Journeying into sacred space produces healing, an increased sense of security and core wisdom. The 30+ years I have been in practice include leading ceremonies, running treatment centers for healing child abuse, college level teaching, national seminars, and training other therapists. I am licensed as a clinical social worker and an addictions therapist.
